about

we are a different kind of superhero. we don’t have x-ray vision, or move at the speed of light, or see into the future. we have super strength, and are able to fly great distances on nothing more than a leap of faith. we are a legion of women who suffer from recurrent pregnancy loss, yet we show up to try again and again, in hopes of taking home a baby.
what most mortals aren’t aware of is the burden of living in a constant state of duality. we respect the awkwardness and embarrassment of publicly sharing, and often choose to protect those around us from our intense pain. we need to know that we are not alone, and that we can live with repeated loss and still show up in life ready to strap on our capes.
on these pages you're amongst sisters of loss; women who represent every facet of this perilous journey. so, whether you are here because:
  • you are threatening to miscarry
  • you miss your angels
  • you find yourself struggling with the decision to try again
know that we are brought together for the purpose of sharing our burdens in order to lessen the sorrow that has moved into our hearts.

we invite you to participate in our projects and join our community. there are several ways to tell your tale - you can find one that suits you or do them all, it's up to you:
  1. submit your story and email it to floursackcape (at) gmail (dot) com, where it will be posted on the home page.
  2. create a visual image as a memorial by going to putting the pieces together.
  3. submit a photo to the slideshow CAPEable of hope, in the upper right corner.
welcome heroes.
